Heart of Gold Award Presented by Second Harvest of the Big Bend at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Celebration
November 15, 2022
The Big Bend Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) celebrated National Philanthropy Day at Proof Brewery on November 15th, 2022.
Nine local nonprofits were asked by AFP to select local groups or individuals whose efforts deserved special recognition. Each nonprofit's recipient received the "Heart of Gold" award.
We are pleased to announce that A FULL SUMMER received the "Heart of Gold" award from Second Harvest of the Big Bend for its efforts to help food insecure children in the Big Bend. Thank you, Second Harvest for this recognition. And thank you, A FULL SUMMER supporters!
Champions Award from the Florida Children's Home Society

A Full Summer is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of the Children's Home Society of Florida's Champion Award. This award was given to A Full Summer in appreciation for its sponsorship Sabal Palm Elementary School's food pantry and for underwriting the monitoring services for the school's Hope 24/7 Food Locker. Thank you, Florida Children's Home Society for this honor. And thank you, A FULL SUMMER supporters!
