A Full Summer Initiatives:
Food Packaging and Food Pantries

You can support A FULL SUMMER by donating below!

Donations are a tremendous support that allow us to better serve our community. In addition to our annual snack pack, we also support food pantries located in 14 Leon County schools. Not only do donations help purchase food during the Summer months, but they also help with stocking, refrigerating, and operating food pantries all year long to keep local families fed.

Of the $40,230.08 raised this year, A FULL SUMMER was able to contributeover $18,000 to Snacks for our summer Snack Pack, $4,095 towards the Hope 24/7 Grocery Locker at Sabal Palm Elementary School, $1,057.97 went towards a new refrigerator for Sabal Palm Elementary School, and $17,077.11 went to Second Harvest, earmarked for Leon County school markets.

This would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and donors.

Distribute & Feed

Second Harvest of the Big Bend distributes snack packs to local agencies that service food insecure children during the Summer.
The 2026 A FULL SUMMER 'Snack Pack' event will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026
From 10AM - 12PM AT GODBY HIGH SCHOOL!

The Snack Pack is full! Thanks to an incredible response from our community, all spots have been filled for this year!

We also thank you for supporting our mission through donations, which help provide nutritious food to the local school pantries we contribute to (just click the donation button in the section below to contribute)!

In 2025, 280 volunteers assembled 9,000 Snack Packs, each with a handwritten note to distribute to local children in our Community. The snacks were distributed by Second Harvest during the summer to sites that serve food-insecure children.

We ask each volunteer working at the event to donate a minimum of $50 to cover the cost of the snacks we pack. Teams of 10 cost $500.

A Full Summer supports Leon County School food pantries, and is underwriting the monitoring fee for the Hope 24/7 Food Locker at Sabal Palm Elementary School.

In 2025, A FULL SUMMER was able to contribute $18,000 for the snacks we packed,
$4,095 for the monitoring fee for the Hope 24/7 food locker, and $18,824.92 to the school pantry program. In addition to helping to sponsor the food pantries, A Full Summer was also able to provide a refrigerator or freezer for several pantries. The addition of a refrigerator or freezer allows children and families to receive chicken, pork, and beef as well as nutritious frozen fruits and vegetables.

Thank you to all of our donors and sponsors who make these pantries possible. A Full Summer volunteers and supporters are changing the world, one child at a time!
